Well it looks like today is going to be a hot one. I may have to close up the house and put the air conditioner on. We are going over to Lombard to watch the fireworks this evening; Chris has to work tonight but I've been told that they can be seen very well from the train platform across the street from Punkys Bar. I think if it gets really hot we might spend the afternoon at Borders, I want to pick up the new issue of Spin-Off. I take it for granted a lot, but it really is a cool thing. I never could have imagined 20 or 25 years ago that this great resource would be at my fingertips. It is just amazing.
I have been working on this little pillow the last couple of days. I started it last year and then put it away while I did other things. I didn't have much blue for the water so I dyed some yesterday morning. When I picked this up again the day before yesterday the house was the only thing I had hooked. I have to say that I REALLY like the foreground on this one, I think the colors all mingle nicely. I am going to try and get it finished by the end of the week and list it on Etsy.
