I was just kind of nosing around YouTube and came across this young pair of Newfoundlanders, Mike and Renee Batten. They both seem to play several instruments including accordian and guitar, and Mike plays mandolin as well. They look really young, and it's a very cool thing that they are keeping their musical heritage alive. I was hard put to choose which of the videos to post, so I think I may revisit them every now and then and post something new. I hope to hear them in their own band some day, but until then this is Puffin Island Jig.
